Designed for young inventors, entering grades 4-5, this hands-on, interactive camp offers the perfect introduction to the fundamentals of robotics, engineering, and coding—using the fun and versatile LEGO SPIKE Prime kits.

    STEM Skills in Action: Dive into the core concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) as you create robots that can perform tasks, solve challenges, and interact with the environment.

    Creative Problem Solving: Whether it’s navigating obstacles, picking up objects, or completing missions, campers will apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills to bring their robotic creations to life.

    Interactive Challenges: Compete in friendly team challenges where campers work together to test the capabilities of their robots, learning the value of teamwork and collaboration while having fun!

    Coding Made Easy: No experience with coding is required! Our camp leaders will guide campers through beginner-friendly coding platforms that make programming fun and accessible, while also laying a solid foundation for future coding exploration.

    This elementary camp opportunity is offered by the Robotics Center at Kettering University, led by an aircraft technician and pilot, and FIRST mentor.
